THE WINES
Yo El Rey is made in South Africa, sourcing grapes from a network of trusted growers across the Cape winelands. These farmers share a commitment to working with the land—not against it—farming without chemicals and focusing on biodiversity to keep soils and ecosystems alive and thriving.
The wines are crafted in small batches out of a shared cellar space in Simondium, always with a low-intervention mindset. Nothing fancy, nothing fake—just honest winemaking with no additives except a touch of SO₂ when needed. The goal is simple: to make fresh, energetic wines that are unfussy, full of character, and—above all—the kind you want to open, drink, and share.
